The Times of India: If we fail on water, we fail on climate and development!
- Press clipping
As we draw closer to the summer months, as always, water will slowly start emerging as a precious commodity, rivaling the value of gold. Well, this should be surprising! After all, India has to quench the thirst of 18 percent of the world’s population using only 4 percent of the planet’s water resources it can stake a claim over. There is no match between demand and supply. To ensure equity in access to water, we need resource management. But that has not been the case with water in India, leading to this disparity, which is nothing short of a catastrophic crisis.
